Drivescapes - DAF hotbox & Iveco flatbed

dscapes web.png

Previously we had worked with Olly and Zoe at Drivescapes on their site boards and business cards, and when they collected them they instantly wanted us to signwrite the latest vehicles in their fleet, an Iveco Daily flatbed and the DAF tarmac hotbox. We took the Iveco first, partially wrapping the cab in crayon grey then applying their logo in charcoal gloss. When we took delivery of the Iveco the tailgate was yellow and damaged, so we gave it a good sand back and a fresh coat of black paint along with a new tailboard sign. The hotbox followed the iveco the following day where we replicated the graphics on the cab and added a fluorescent yellow box to the existing chevrons with the logo inside. Olly and Zoe have been over the moon with our work, and both trucks are out earning their keep with minimal disruption to any jobs they have been on. Many thanks to Olly, Zoe and Team - you can find out more at www.drive-scapes.co.uk

Horder Healthcare - Wayfinding signage update

horder website.png

Having worked with Jackie and her team at Horder previously, we knew how important it was to have correct, relevant and up to date signage across their multiple sites. We were required to produce different signs in multiple signs and in different mounting methods including post mounted car park signs. We approached the job with a methodical nature, from the entrance inwards, and all in all a job well done and appreciated by the Horder Team and their patients. Many thanks to Horder Healthcare.

JPS Renewable Energy - Fleet strip down

jps relay strip web.png

We were approached by local firm JPS to strip down their whole fleet of vans ready for a stock-take and rebrand. We are now coming to the end of these strip downs, and have readied the artwork and cut files to rebrand each van as they require. We start by heating the existing vinyl signwriting and peeling off. Once the vinyl is off we can get cleaning, first with an intensive tar and glue remover to get rid of any residue left by the vinyl adhesive. This can be stubborn to remove, so multiple decontamination washes are required to make sure it's all gone. From there, we will assess each panel and polish with either a DA or by hand depending on the paint quality and condition. A quick spritz inside and its back to JPS HQ.

Cami - EQC400 dechrome

eqc400 dechrome.png

We had a customer pop in a few weeks ago with a quick enquiry about a chrome Mercedes badge being wrapped black. With a bit of discussion it turns out Cami (the customer) has never particularly liked the satin chrome window surrounds, or the chrome badges.. Easy enough to solve! With our trusty Oracal dechrome vinyl in 50mm and 25mm widths, a ProSeries finisher and a heat gun, we transformed this lovely Merc in no time. Gloss black window trims, gloss black badges, gloss black bumper trims and to finish we sourced some gloss black rear model badges. Cami left over the moon with his cars new look. Subtle changes can make the biggest impact.

AK Air Conditioning - Berlingo strip and refit

mart website berlingo.png

The team at AK Air Conditioning have been a customer for years, going back to when Martin and Sam originally formed the company back in 2013. We had originally sign written the berlingo but unfortunately being a commercial vehicle someone had used a caustic TFR cleaner on the van, causing premature weathering and ultimately failure of the vinyl, the caustic properties of an intensive cleaner can be catastrophic to the adhesive, and over time will eat into it. We stripped the old vinyl, gave the van a thorough decontamination wash with pH neutral foam, then applied the new company branding, consisting of a partial wrap in gloss blue and gloss red, and silver text, with the addition of full colour printed social media keys. Look out for the vans flying around the south east, and get in touch with Mart, Sam and the team for any air conditioning needs.

BDS Building and Maintenance Ltd - New Business Package

bds steve website.png

Having worked with Steve previously, we were well prepared for his exciting news that he was going to head out on his own. He had already warned Bobby of his impending decision and we had been working in the background to get a startup package in place once he pulled the trigger. We provided Steve with a new simple logo design, 1000 flyers and 500 business cards, 5 t-shirts and 2 hoodies, and a sign written van. This covers the first wave of advertising for BDS locally, with networking opportunities and being able to leaflet drop local areas, along with advertising his business wherever he goes in the van whilst looking smart. Although we are sure Steve will frequently join us for a cuppa, we wish him all the best in his new business.

WH Autos - Transit Custom Magnetic Signs

wha wes.png

When Wes first approached us with his plan to leave the fast paced stress of being a dealership tech we were excited to watch his business grow. We helped him out with a simple but effective logo and then fitted some custom shaped magnetic boards to the rear doors. The challenge came when we realised Ford had the bright idea of putting the rear view camera in the panel inset, leaving us the task of making a template of the panel, laying out the magnetic board and carefully cutting out the recess for the camera to come through. Signwriting done right, effective and simple. Good luck to Wes at WH Autos.

West Malling Coachworks - Transit Chapter 8

wmc website.png

Gary at West Malling Coachworks called us in a bit of a tight spot with a customers van he was repairing, needing the back of the vans signwriting reinstating. Having not seen the van we got it in the workshop and took a look, realising quickly that what was left of the existing chapter 8 chevrons were non-compliant we decided to strip and re-install R3B compliant chevrons, and rebuilt the customers signwriting from scratch to finish. All to a deadline that neither Gary or ourselves wanted, but we made it work and both our customer and in turn, his customer left happy. Perfect outcome for everyone!

Lawry Paving & Landscaping - Transit Tipper cab

lpl website.jpg

Lee at LPL and his family are very well known and respected locally, often fundraising for the village school and joining events run by the small community that we are part of - so when we found out Lee had unfortunately had his truck, trailer and mini digger stolen from his driveway in late May, we knew we had to reach out and see what we could do to help. Lee had secured a new truck that very day so we offered to put a bit of basic sign writing on the cab, for two reasons - visibility of his business when on jobs, and secondly to deter thieves - a sign written vehicle is far less appealing as it adds an instantly recognisable feature. We are absolutely thrilled to have helped a lovely local family in some way, and wish Lee all the success going forward.

Daves Baja-Cub 2.0

dave c90 website.jpg

Local small Honda enthusiast Dave Schofield popped in to speak with Karl about creating retro graphics for one of his many projects, a bright yellow, stripped back C90, taking us back to childhood! Between Daves brain and Karls technical ability they came up with a sleek hand script BAJA graphic and added "SCHOFIELD SPEED SHOP" a nod to Daves previous and existing project list. Karl then took the old panels, sized accordingly and produced some printed stickers. We cannot wait to get to work on the next one, a 70s style graphic for his dad's bike.
